With a perfect combination of dries and nymphs, the kits are assembled with an emphasis on the hatches you're likely to see during your trip. We also include a nice compliment of streamers to round out the selection. In addition, we include a selection of leaders and tippet appropriate for the duration of your trip.

Our Trout Essentials Kit is designed to give you a core selection of "tried and true" trout flies. However, we realize that, particlularly in the American West, you can count on the expertise of your guide to provide you with unique, local patterns that magically appear from secret compartments in your guide's vest and boat...but don't be surprised when your guide asks you to return his magic fly at the end of the day! Nonetheless, you should always be prepared with a core selection of trout flies of your own.
